Dues rebates for former student members

 New MEA members who were student members in Maine or another state are eligible for MEA and NEA dues rebates during their first year of teaching.  Former SEAM members are eligible for rebates of both MEA and NEA dues; former student members of other state associations are eligible for rebates of NEA dues only.

 NEA dues rebate: Dues Rebate After Graduation: During your first year of teaching and regular NEA membership, you'll be eligible to receive a rebate of $20  for each year you were a student member. 

MEA dues rebate: to receive a dues reduction of 10% for each year that you were a SEAM member, please contact your local Association president to discuss how your MEA dues deductions for the current year will be adjusted.
